Binding tight and square, text and endpapers unmarked. Dust jacket is heavily chipped along the top edge and is missing about two inches from the foot of the spine. Also has chipping and tears along the folds, with some internal repair with archival tape. Original price ($2.50) present. The classic novel about down-and-out gold prospectors; basis for the 1948 film directed by John Huston and starring Humphrey Bogart.
