Berkeley, CA: Howell-North Books, 1966.
Hardcover. Very Good in a good dust jacket. 136 pp, with maps, illustrations, illustrated endpapers. Lightly bumped corners and small scuff to front board. Signed and dated by Augusta Fink on the half-title page, with previous owner's inscription dated 1967 on ttitle page. Dust jacket has some chips, creasing, tears, staining to lower two inches, but remains attractive in a new mylar cover. Subtitled The Story of of California's Unique Palos Verdes Penninsula, "this is the story of one of California's oldest ranchos. It is also the story of a unique land formation. In a sense, the two stories are inextricably interwoven, for the shape of the land determined its development and molded the lives of the people who dwelt upon it" (Introduction).
