An uncommon and engaging account of "one of the most remarkable motor trips ever undertaken," a 40,000 mile drive in a Volkswagen bus from the northernmost tip of Europe to the southernmost tip of Africa and back again. The journey took them through 34 countries and at least as many adventures.
