First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 347 pp, with index, illustrations, folding map of the park. Pictorial green cloth binding. Corners rubbed, spine slightly toned, minor foxing, minor soil to rear board. Binding tight and square. Inscribed by Hall on the front free endpaper and dated in 1922 in the Yosemite Valley. Includes articles on the history of the region, the history and administration of the park, geology, birds, mammals, reptiles, fish, insects, trees, and flowers, as well as recreational opportunities (camping, mountaineering, motoring, photography). Hall was Yosemite's first official Park Naturalist.
