Undated, c. 1890. 8vo, pp. 15, [1], stapled self-wrappers. Paper brittle and chipped at the corners, else very good. Number 44 in a series of anti-Mormon tracts published by the Reorganized Church (which separated from the main body of the church in 1844 following the death of Joseph Smith), this pamphlet is dedicated to subject of plural marriage (vehemently opposed by the RDLS church) and was published in response to the 1890 "Woodruff Manifesto," in which Mormon church president Wilford Woodruff officially advised against any further practice of polygamy. The "Epitome of the Faith and Doctrines" of the RLDS church (which state, among other things, "we believe that the doctrines of a plurality and a community of wives are heresies, and are opposed to the law of God") is printed on the final page of the pamphlet.
