Sol Duc, Clallam County, WA: Sol Duc Hot Springs Company, 1912.
Softcover. Near fine. 5 x 8 inches, 32 pp, in color-illustrated wrappers, with many illustrations from photographs. Minimal handling wear; about fine. Scarce early brochure announcing the grand opening of this lavish four-story hotel, which offered visitors to Olympic National Park both luxury and access to the healing powers of the hot springs. In addition to the hotel itself, the grounds boasted a sanitarium and a bathhouse. Although the hotel burned to the ground four years after opening, the Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort still operates within the park, offering rustic cabins and mineral baths.
