Undated, ca. 1981. 8.5 x 11 inches, 28 pp. Light handling wear; very good. An interesting study of crime (littering, vandalism, theft, assault, etc.) and other forms of social conflict in what is now Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The researchers conducted a series of interviews with both visitors and staff and discuss management approaches for addressing these issues. A literature review describes the scope of the problem and provides statistics from 1977 on crime in eight of the most visited parks.
