St. Louis: M. Peterson Hair Co., .
Softcover. Good. 8 pp, 10" x 5.5, with a 1919 price list laid in. Complete, but fairly worn, and stamped on many pages (lest you forget) "Owing to the advance in the cost of raw material, prices are subject to change without notice." Scarce trade catalogue/price list from a St. Louis firm founded in 1866 that offered a wide range of human hair and hair products -- including items made of "white ladies hair," "raw" and "refined" Chinese hair, "creole goods" and "negro goods." In addition to wigs, toupees, switches, and braids, they offered crimping, pressing, and curling irons, dyes, hair nets, combs and brushes, and a range of creams, oils, and cosmetics.
