A good copy, with some looseness to the binding, boards well rubbed, previous owner's name and date on front free endpaper. The author was " a civil engineer, author, builder, adventurer, and marksman was the general manager of The Roebling Construction Company, the New York City firm created by John A. Roebling's Sons Company of Trenton, New Jersey" (wiki). This is a harrowing survival narrative describing the adventures and misfortunes of a hunting party that became snowbound in the Bitterroot Mountains of Idaho in November of 1893.
