Light wear to cloth, one map slightly misfolded, with some resulting wear at one fold, otherwise a very nice, clean copy of this sought-after title in the Baedeker series. It was issued shortly before World War I and the Russian Revolution, and no further editions in English were published. Following an introduction offering practical (transportation, hotels, currency, postal and telegraph services, etc.) and historical information, the text is divided into eight sections covering Warsaw, Western Russia (Baltic Provinces), St. Petersburg and Environs, Grandy Duchy of Finland, Central and Northern Russia, Southern Russia, the Caucasus, and "Teheran. Railways in Asiatic Russia. Port Arthur. Peking."
