The House of the Seven Brothers; Trees, Roots and Branches of the House of Ste-Tee-Thlum. A Genealogical Story of the Olympic Peninsula

Softcover. Very good. No publication information given, but signed by the author and dated October 27, 1960. 32 pp, in stapled illustrated wrappers. Some toning to edges, general handling wear. Lambert writes in the foreword: "This is the story of the Clallam Indians of the Olympic Peninsula as told to me by the Indians sitting around their campfire. I have listened to them over and over, as they talked of their ancestors, their exploits, and their strugles to adjust to a new way of life after the comming of the white man. From my early years I have lived among the Clallams. I speak their language, I undertand their way of life. I feel their side of the struggle should be part of the history of Jefferson County, so I present this genealogical story of the House of the Seven Brothers." Scarce.
