Spine a bit toned, minor foxing to boards and endpapers, otherwise clean and sound. Account of John Wesley Powell's second Colorado River expedition (1871-73), for which the seventeen-year-old Dellenbaugh was the artist and assistant topographer. Dellenbaugh also created the cover design for this book, as well as several of his others. Farquhar 45.
