Dust jacket is price clipped and has some chipping and very short tears, but remains quite attractive overall. Shute's best-known novel, a post-apocalyptic tale that was made into the 1959 film of the same name, which starred Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, Fred Astaire, and anthony Perkins.
