Dust jacket is price-clipped, has a chip at the head of the spine, on short tear, and some rubbing to the rear panel. "Murray was a prominent in Scottish rock and winter climbing in the 1930s, accomplishing many severe new routes" (Neate M186). He also wrote several climbing novels and general-interest books on the Scottish Highlands.
