She and her husband (a Member of Parliament and accomplished sailor) traveled extensively on their yacht "Sunbeam," and Annie's lively books about their adventures found an eager audience. This book, published after she died of malaria at age 48, recounts travels in India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Australia.
