Text of the resolution of a lawsuit grought by the United States Govenment over oil-bearing lands in California granted to Southern Pacific Railroad. The Government argued that Southern Pacific knew the lands contained oil when they applied for them and fraudulently concealed this information from the government. The court found that these charges were unproven and dismissed the case.
