Reveuë, Corrigée & Aumentée d’une Table des Matieres.Two volumes bound in one, 12mo, 6 x 3.5 inches, full contemporary mottled calf, backstrip with five raised bands, gilt lettering and flourishes in each panel, edges speckled, numerous headpieces and floriated initials. Text in French. pp. [xlviii] 390; 421 [422-450] (table). Lacks front free endpaper; otherwise complete. Binding is a bit rubbed at corners and edges, one chip at tail of backstrip reveals spine, joints are well rubbed, but overall still very good. Interior very clean, unmarked other than previous owner's notations on pastefowns. Beuvelet was an ascetic writer who belonged to the congregation of the Priests of St. Nicholas du Chardonnet in Paris.
