Ex-library, with ink stamp on each title plate and presentation bookplate of donor (Rev. R.B. Taggart) on each front pastedown. Uniformly bound in black paper-covered boards with well-rubbed handwritten labels on spines. Extremities heavily rubbed and worn. Internally quite clean, tightly bound. New Testament commentary. Johann Christoph Wolf (1683-1739) was a German Christian Hebraist, polymath, and bibliographer. These volumes contain his philological and critical notes on the New Testament.
