Softcover. Very good. 9.5" x 12.25" (oblong), string-tied. [16] pages, illustrated. Light soiling, toning, and moderate general handling wear to covers, some light foxing internally. Provides a history of Assumption Parish (the first Catholic church in Waco was founded in 1870) and details of the work accomplished by a succession of priests (Father Bussant, Father Badelon, Father Clancy, Father Kelly, and Father Heckman). This is followed by sections on the Academy of the Sacred Heart (a convent school founded in 1873 and run by the Sisters of St. Mary), St, Basil's College (a day school for boys founded in 1899), and the Providence Sanitarium (a hospital and training school for nurses founded in 1905 and run by the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul).
