Dust jacket is chipped along the top edge. Per the jacket, "the first part of this volumes contains a number of treatises and articles which deal with various topics of the law of communist countries, including China and Outer Mongolia....The second part is a selection of the most important enactments promulgated in East-European countries in 1959 and 1961, together with a Polish project-law." Part I deals mainly with public and criminal law and Part II with civil law.
