Hardcover. Near fine. A combined reissue of "Pictures of the Past" and "History That Will Never be Repeated." 241 pages, with frontis map and beautifully printed photographic illustrations. One of 260 copies bound in quarter cowhide, signed by the author and the printer, with extra suite the photographs in a separate folder, together houses in a slipcase. The original prospectus is also present. There is a tiny spot on the fore edge of the text block, otherwise fine. "Pictures of the Past (1902) weaves hardbitten buffalo hunters' stories into accounts of the herds, the slaughter, the hunters' occupation, great hunters....the Indian incidents, Fort Griffin, toughs and outlaws....History that Will Never be Repeated (1io1) record lore of the early Texas cattle industry" (Prospectus).
