Specially bound in three-quarter leather with tooled spine, marbled boards and endpapers, for Los Angeles bookseller C.C. Parker. Bookplate of historian Catherine Coffin Phillips on front pastedown. Some scuffing to leather, small tear at head of spine, front and rear blank pages inserted by binder are browned, binding sound, text clean.
