Bayer Pharmaceuticals Promotional Game

Very good. This rare and charming premium issued by the Portuguese division of Bayer Pharmaceuticals consists of three 4" x 6" color lotto-style cards depicting Bayer products and various characters experiencing sore throats, headaches, toothaches, flu, and similar maladies. Sufferers include a policeman, soldier, sailor, judge, jockey, barber, doctor, fisherman, aviator, chauffeur, chef, and others. Their complaints are cured by when the player finds the corresponding card -- showing the same character looking healthy, happy, and robust -- and places it on the card. Text on the back of the three cards, headed (loosely translated) "The Fight Against Pain," "Defense of Health," and "Conclusions," describes the benefits of the two Bayer products being advertised, Cafiaspirina and Panflavina. Set lacks two overlay cards, otherwise very good.  Printer's credit reads "Lito. Nacional Porto."
