Hardcover. Good. An uncommon and beautifully illustrated gift book made for travelers embarking on journey by ocean liner. Undated, but listed as new for the 1906-07 season in an advertisement in The Bookseller, where it is described as "an attractive and novel book for travellers for keeping a record of voyages, places visited, notes and incidents, &c. Bound in attractive style, art cloth, with numerous illustrations."  The book measures 6.5" x 7.75" and has 52 unnumbered pages, including 6 color lithographs of common cruise destinations (Gibraltar, Queenstown, Naples, Sydney, San Francisco, Buenos Ayres), four pages in color showing the "Flags & Funnels of Principal S.S. Lines," "Flags of the Principal Maritime Nations," and "International Code of Signals," text pages with useful information for travelers and the national anthems of several nations, and many blank pages for keeping a record of the journey (with headers such as "ships passed," "companions on the voyage" and "places visited").  All pages are unused. However, there is some light dampstaining visible on the covers and inner hinges, and the binding is a bit loose in places. Not found in OCLC. .
