The first page explains that "The purpose of this book is to show the Trade a few of the new leading styles of original designs for the ensuing season in children's kilt suits, children's short pant suits, boys' suits for ordinary wear and dress; also fine, fashionable suits for young men." Each page illustrates a different style and shows a child in an appropriate setting for the garments. Includes illustrations of boys engaged in archery, baseball, and badminton, among other settings. No prices are given. This catalogue not found in OCLC; we located a single copy of an 1882 catalogue at the Library of Congress.
