9"x 6", 80 pp, illustrated. Sewn binding, lacking wrappers. Staining to lower right corner of first seven leaves, chip missing from final leaf, otherwise clean; Good. Text describes the company's exhibit at the 1876 Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia; updates customers on developments at the company since the last catalogue was issued (in 1877), which includes a major fire that destroyed much of their factory; and offers "practical hints on mill building" and instructions for providing necessary information when requesting estimates or plans. This is followed by detailed and well illustrated descriptions of various packing, separating, scouring, dusting, grinding, crushing, and bolting machinery, as well as portable flour and grist mills and a range of related items such as mills stones and spindles, elevator buckets, etc. Not found in OCLC.
