"In compiling this small catalogue, we have made no attempt to arrange the books alphabetically for your convenience, but have endeavored to make the catalogue in such a way that you with interest examine it from cover to cover and therby become interested in some book which would otherwise escape your notice," says the introductory text. That said, it is divided into Fiction, Juvenile, Reference, History, Biography, Essays, Poetry, Religion, and Travel and Adventure sections, with full lists of 355 titles in "Burt's Home Library" and 160 in the Cornell Series at the end. All entries are priced.
