Date of 1936 added in pen in another hand. Also inscribed on the copyright page "For Borgny Baird with appreciation from Flora Dell (Smith) Thompson, 1971," and has Ms. Thompson's name and a short note on front free endpaper. Some light fading to top edge of boards and spine, upper corner heavily bumped.
