Japanese Village (Bradley's Straight Line Picture Cut-Outs)
Springfield, MA: Milton Bradley, 1920.
Very good. Complete, unused set of 8 sheets (11" x 14.25") of cardstock, each containing different elements of the village to be colored, cut out, and assembled, accompanied by a sheet of instructions and a and color suggestions card (showing the assembled models), housed in the original envelope. Sheets are in very good condition, envelope shows moderate shelfwear, soiling. Milton Bradley promoted their Straight Line Picture Cut-Outs as a "home occupation for little folks that provides worth-while fun in cutting, coloring, and simple construction work." The Village Series included Dutch, Japanese, Eskimo, African, Arabian, Hindu, Filipino, Mexican, and Pilgrim villages, all designed by Lulu Maud Chance.
