First Edition. Hardcover. Near fine. 6" x 7.5", [19] leaves printed rectos only. Original brick red cloth decorated in black with gilt title, beveled edges, all edges gilt. Offsetting to first leaf (dedication) from something once laid in; else fine. Curry and Kruska 25: "A poem extolling the natural wonders of Yosemite. Of interest for the sixteen woodcut illustrations" by Smillie, who wrote and illustrated the chapter on Yosemite in William Cullen Bryant's Picturesque America (1872).
