In a full-leather school prize binding with black spine label, raised bands, inner dentelles, all edges marbled, marbled endpapers. Some staining to leather on front board, light scuffing, but overall a handsome copy, internally very clean. Inscribed on the front flyleaf "Sunningdale School, A Prize awareded to Thomas Ashby for Diligence. W. Harding Girdlestone, D.D., 1 August 1883."
