Hardcover. Very good. 6" x 4", 407 pp, in original calf binding. Leather over joints partially cracked, but hinges and binding sound. Ownership signatures (one from 1777, one from 1972) on front endpapers, otherwise unmarked. Thomas Boston (1676-1732) was a Scottish Presbyterian minister and theologian. The subject of this volume is described in the subtitle: "Wherein the parties in that Covenant, the making of it, and its carts, conditionary and promissory, and the Administration thereof, are distinctly considered. Together with the trial of a saving person inbeing in in and the way of instating sinners therein unto their eternal salvation."
