A good or better copy, with ca. 2.5-icnh split in cloth along both joints at head of spine, scattered foxing, light rubbing and soiling to boards, small stain visible at lower gutter on title page and frontispiece. Bookplate of Frederick Greenwood on front pastedown. Half-title present. Frontis is "Oliver Claimed by His Affectionate Friends," which is listed in the List of Illustrations at page 82. Plate titled "Monks and the Jews" is bound in upside down.
