Edges rubbed, spine recovered and hinges reinforced with black cloth tape, minor old water damage just bartely visible at top margin (ca. 1/4 inch) of some pages, more significant tidemark on engraved portrait page preceeding the title page. Nonetheless, a sound and attractive copy of this beautifully produced trade catalogue, which features more than 100 engraved illustrations of the company's carriages and wagons, as well as extensive advertising for a wide range of services and products, including a colored view of the New Haven office of Henry Austin, Architect. An excellent source on nineteenth-century vehicle design and on American commerce of the period.
