Softcover. Very good. Collection of eight issues the storied Neiman-Marcus Christmas Book -- an annual retail catalogue known for mixing luxury shopping with over-the-top, sometimes absurd, fantasy. The subject of considerable media buzz, the catalogue's extravagant "fantasy gifts" have included a live Black Angus bull with custom silver barbecue cart; matching "his and hers" airplanes," a pair of camels;  an authentic Egyptian sarcophagus; and a full-size "Noah's Ark", complete with a "French chef, Swedish masseur, German hair stylist, English valet, French maid, Italian couturier, English curator/librarian, Park Avenue physician and Texas A & M librarian." This incomplete run includes the issues from 1963, 1964, 1967, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1974. Condition is very good overall, with a few small flaws. Several include the original mailing wrappers (addressed to a woman Beverly Hills, naturally). .
