One page of text followed by 10 plates, printed rectos only. Text describes this as "the largest U.S. Military Home," with a 578-acre campus, 105 buildings (barracks, officers' quarters, hospital, mess halls, churches, theater, post office, greenhouses, barns, shops, vocational training buildings, etc.), a peak residency of 4,940 in 1896 and a residency of about 3,000 at the time of publication.
