Hardcover. Good. The volumes, one 10.5" x 7.25" and two 11" x 7.75", uniformly bound in pale orange cloth, with titles handwritten in ink on spine (as "Grammar," "English-Ilokano," and "Ilokano-English"). Grammar (348 pp) has a publication date of 1955, the thesaurus (365 pp) is undated and has no publication information, and the dictionary (370 pp) is dated 1956. All three complete and unmarked, but with some minor dampstaining and loosening of the hinges and a slight musty odor. Vanoverbergh (1885-1982) was a Belgian Catholic missionary who worked in the Philippines for many years and was noted for his linguistic and anthropological scholarship as well as his missionary work.
