Bound in half-leather and marbled boards, with marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. A very good copy with some scuffing to the spine leather, chipping to fore edge of preliminary blank leaves. This book won the Prix Thérouanne (an annual prize for history writing awarded by the Académie française) in 1919. All text in French.
