Typoo
New York: Paul S. Erikkson, Inc., 1969.
First Edition. Hardcover. Very good in a good dust jacket. A scarce "typographical novel" akin to concrete poetry, using typewriter symbols and letters to compose images that are part of the narrative. The dust jacket proclaims that "Typoo is a new kind of literary hero. His adventures are all the more real because his world is only paper and typewriter keys. He was born out of a typewriter keyboard and weaned on commas, carets, slashes and ampersands." A very good copy in original red cloth, with some finger smudging on one page and creasing to the cloth at the lower front corner. In a good dust jacket with considerable chipping to the top edge, as well as the corners and foot of spine.
