Hunt, which would have faced page 148. Photocopies of these pages are provided with the book. Otherwise complete, with 88 other plates and one color map. In the original binding, which is heavily worn, with front hinge cracked and front board loose, small label at upper spine. Ownership markings on endpapers, first and last few leaves creased; text and plates generally clean, but with a few marginal smudges and ink stamp of the Ramona Parlor of the Native Sons of the Golden West at the corner of one plate (and on endpapers).
