Softcover. Very good. Two disbound volumes (pp. 146, 119) housed in matching custom archival folders with mouted paper labels, together in a cloth clamshell box with title on spine. Volumes measure 12.5" x 9" and include a total of 14 plates. Part I was issued in Volume 3 of Smithsonian Contributions to Knowledge; Part II in Volume 5 of the same series. Together they describe plants collected by Charles Wright during travels in Texas, New Mexico, and Sonora between 1849 and 1852. The 10 plates in Part I show some foxing; those in Part II are very clean, as is all text.
