Souvenir view book. 9.25" x 12.25", oblong; [44] pp, with 2 text pages (including a page of 1895 statistics on the inside rear cover), the rest illustrations from photographs (some pages with one full-page image, most with multiple images per page). Entire volume shows old water damage, but we detect no odors or other unpleasantness. A scarce volume (not found in OCLC), with many great images documenting Duluth's commercial and industrial history, institutions, etc. Preface states that "the object of this book is to show in concise and attractive form the City of Duluth, Minnesota. Her parks, boulevards, street-scenes, marine views, mining scenes on her tributary iron ranges, glimpses of lumbering in her adjacent forests, pictures of some historic sports, as well as her public and private structures of all kinds are illustrated."
