Lowestoft, Kirkley and Oulton Broad: E.W.B. Squire & Son.
Softcover. Very Good. Undated (but contemporary to the War) photographic view book, .7.5 x 9.5 inches, oblong, in original illustrated, string-tiedwrappers. One page of text and 13 views of damaged and destroyed buildings tipped in on rectos only of 13 leaves. Near fine, with light handling wear. The text reads in part "In the bombardment of these attractive watering places, the German Nation has stooped to the lowest depths of infamy, and at the same time shown how utterly inadequate is its outlook and its judgment on the fitness of things. Committing a great crime, they have without realising it been guilty of a terrible blunder, the effects of which will dog their footsteps for many a long year to come."
